VenueBookr as an alternative to ROLLER
If you are weighing up ROLLER, here is how VenueBookr compares — what each company publishes about itself and its prices, and a table where every mark can be traced to that company's own website.
The short version
ROLLER is software for attractions. Its own website describes managing capacity and allocation of your resources such as attractions, arenas, zones, party rooms, or equipment
, a point of sale that makes it simple to sell your food & beverage, and retail items
, and memberships with automatic recurring payments
.
ROLLER publishes its plans — Lite, Pro, Premium and Enterprise — but not their prices, and says that depending on your contract and tier you will be charged a percentage of the total transactions processed through the ROLLER platform
.
VenueBookr is booking and venue management software built inside a working rage room and axe throwing venue in Kent: bookings, payments, waivers, the Day Plan, the till, the staff rota, vouchers, memberships and reports in one system, for £299 a month per venue with no commission on your bookings.

Who is better off staying with ROLLER
If you run a large attraction on a ROLLER contract that suits you, with its point of sale, memberships and self-serve kiosks in daily use, there may be little to gain from moving — and moving a working setup is real work. One thing to check before you compare: VenueBookr's memberships renew at the end of a fixed term; rolling monthly billing is still to come.
What moving to VenueBookr involves
Send us your export and we bring your customers, products, future bookings and outstanding gift vouchers across for you, and a person reads the file before anything lands in your account. You get two weeks of onboarding with us before your first bill, and a person to talk to throughout. Check your ROLLER contract for its notice period before you set a date.
ROLLER is a trademark of its owner. VenueBookr has no connection with ROLLER. If anything on this page is out of date, tell us and we will put it right.
